Help with backups, upgrades and query tuning on our managed PostgreSQL fleet while learning its internals.

What you'll do

Run and tune PostgreSQL and other engines: replication, backups and restores.
Plan capacity, upgrades and migrations with zero surprises.
At manager level, lead the database roadmap and the people on it.

What we're looking for

Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL internals and query planning.
Experience with backups, replication and disaster recovery.
Calm, methodical approach to production incidents.

For this level (Junior)

Up to 2 years with SQL and PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Interest in how databases store and replicate data.

Nice to have

Experience with MySQL, MongoDB or Redis.
Building database-as-a-service products.
